Hi Jeff:

I think I might have met you at a Wade family reunion in Polo, Ill. about 8 years ago. I didn't know about your blog until I got an email through other family members. My grandma was Nora Geigle (Wade). I guess we're distant cousins. I've read a few entries of your blog and wanted to write to you and give you some encouragement. We all need encouragement, sometimes we get it from people who are living with challenges with their health, family situations, job, etc. Reading your blog gives me encouragement to see the incredible recovery that you've made. I'm glad you're doing well and attend motorcycle events, interacting with people that support you. Having a dog is the best thing in the world! I have two little dogs and I love them so much. They keep me company when my husband is gone during the week. He's a truck driver. Dogs are great companions. Are there any pictures of patches? Hi Jeff,

Loved hearing all about what is going on with you. What kind of a dog is Patches? We have two cats, but our daughter Jacki has two dogs,one of them a 14 week old puppy (Mini Australian Sheperd). She got it right after she had to put down her 13 year old dog that was a Border Collie and Austrailian Shepherd mix. He had problems with his legs and got to where he just couldn't stay up even with help. The puppy sure keeps us all busy.

I just went to my high schools class 55th reunion in Aurora, CO. Fun and intersting to see all the classmates from so many years ago. the I visited other places in CO. Met my niece in Dillon, CO and then went to my Brothers house in LaGarita, which is in Southern CO. A friend from Las VEgas joined me for the travel. It was so nice to be in CO in the cooler weather.

To my uncles--you guys are amazing and the love and concern you have for your brother's well being shines through in everything you do for him. I appreciate you guys so much for being a constant presence when I know at times it interferes with other plans.

To my dad--Thank you for allowing these fairly major changes to take place without a fight. You are trusting your family to know what's best and we all appreciate that! I love you and will stand by you every step of the way!!!
